Availability & things to know
Free chat is available on the web, desktop, mobile and in Edge in supported regions. Microsoft 365 app and Cowork access depend on your account, subscription and rollout.
A shared Family plan does not automatically give every member the subscription owner’s AI benefits. Account type, region and plan limits matter.
Free Copilot chat is not the same as paid Microsoft 365 app access or Cowork. Cowork for personal accounts is in preview and requires an eligible subscription. Features and limits vary by plan, account and region.
