A supported device, internet, microphone and Flow account. Dictation supports Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android; Notetaker is for Mac and Windows. Check current device requirements. Minimum age is 13 in the US and 16 elsewhere; under-18 users may need guardian consent.
Cost
Ongoing Free with weekly word limits. Pro is $15 per user/month, or $144 per user/year paid upfront. These are US card list prices; regional and app-store offers differ. Separate eligible trials and temporary Notetaker offers do not make all paid features permanently free.

- Eligible accounts normally get 14 days; referral, student and team exceptions apply. Android currently offers no new trial. A team with billing can convert a trial into paid seats. Check the actual timer and offer; a card is not needed for the ongoing free start.
- Paid plans
- US card prices: Pro $15/user/month or $144/user/year paid upfront. Unlimited dictation; more meeting history with limits. Growth dictation-only $23/month or $216/year per user; with Notetaker $33/month or $312/year. Enterprise quote. Regional and store prices differ.
- Extra costs & limits
- Paid services renew until canceled. Taxes, extra seats and additional meeting access can add costs. Some team signup paths default to three annual seats. Where offered, a Notetaker promotion ends 31 October with limited access afterward and no automatic price increase. Confirm eligibility; it is not an ongoing unlimited free plan.

Getting started.
Install from the official site and sign in. Check your platform’s permissions and data choices. Dictate one harmless sentence into a blank note, then compare the text with what you meant. Review a meeting’s recording rules before using Notetaker.
Transcription runs in the cloud. Check names, numbers and tone. The model-training choice is separate from cloud storage; setup says training is on by default for Free and Pro. Free limits vary by platform and account. This is a writing and notes tool, rather than an assistant that independently sends messages or handles errands.
