Kortix.
Give an agent a job. Review what it changes.
Build agents that work with files, code and connected work tools on a cloud computer. Keep their instructions and permissions with your project, then review the changes they prepare. The current service is for professional and business use.
Getting started: Some setupCreate a project, choose a model and set tool permissions and spending limits. Running it on your own server is technical work. Our setup guide, not a performance score.
Good for
Developers and small technical teams who want a repeatable work routine. Kortix describes its own daily routine that checks code changes and prepares documentation updates for human review.
Start with
An adult account for professional use, a project and a supported model connection. Review which files, tools and accounts an agent may use. A free computer allowance does not include free premium model calls.
Cost
Free gives 500 computer credits a month, with no card required. Paid Credits starts at $50/month for 5,000 credits, shared across the account. Model use, running computers and some connected tools have separate charges. No general paid trial or self-serve annual offer was confirmed.
Plans and limits explainedComputer credits and model costs.
- Free plan
- 500 credits/month, no card, one project and unlimited members. Credits pay computer and eligible routing costs; Free does not include Kortix-managed premium models. Your own model provider or supported subscription can still cost money.
- Free trial
- A general paid-plan trial, its quota/card terms and a self-serve annual offer were not confirmed. The recurring Free wallet is not a paid-plan trial.
- Paid plans
- Credits starts at $50/month for 5,000 credits in one account wallet; members have no extra seat charge. The default price view is $200/20,000 credits. Self-serve plans renew until canceled, effective at paid period end. Enterprise contract terms differ.
- Extra costs & limits
- Running computers and proxied tools use credits. Managed model calls add 5.5% to the base price. With your own key, the provider still charges you; Kortix waives its fee for the first $1,000/month of model usage, then adds 5%. Plan credits roll one month; top-ups do not expire. Optional auto top-up needs a stored payment method and can charge immediately below its trigger.
Prices in USD unless noted. Check the billing period; local prices, taxes and offers can differ.
Plan details
One shared wallet pays for usage. It is not a fixed number of finished tasks, and members do not add a seat fee.
- Free$0
- 500 credits each month, no card required, one project and unlimited members. Use your own model access key or a supported ChatGPT subscription. Managed premium models are not included. Your provider can still charge you.
- CreditsFrom $50 / month
- 5,000 monthly credits at the first tier; the default pricing selection is $200 for 20,000 credits. Up to 200 projects and unlimited members. Each credit is $0.01. Monthly plan credits roll over for one month; top-ups do not expire.
- Model usageSeparate from the computer
- Kortix-managed calls use credits at the model base price plus 5.5%. With your own provider key, you pay the provider; Kortix waives its fee on the first $1,000 of monthly model usage, then adds 5%. That is a fee waiver, not $1,000 of free model calls. Supported subscription model access has its own limits.
- Running computers and toolsUsage-based
- A default computer is about $0.11/hour while active. Larger reserved resources cost more; stopped computers do not accrue compute charges. Proxied search and scraping can also use credits. Your own model key does not make the computer free.
- Renewal, top-ups and EnterpriseCheck the selected offer
- Self-serve subscriptions renew until canceled; cancellation takes effect at period end. Optional automatic top-ups need a saved payment method and can charge immediately when the balance is low. Enterprise has separate contract and renewal rules. No general paid trial or self-serve annual invoice was verified.
Checked 20 October 2026. Current pricing starts at $50/month; the repository still mentions an older $20 starting amount. Use the current official offer. Self-hosting has separate infrastructure, model and license requirements.

Try something small.
- Draft a documentation update from a small code change
- Prepare a recurring report from approved project files
- Review a proposed code change before merging it
Getting started.
Create a project and check the Free or paid wallet. Choose a model route and limit the tools it can use. Start with harmless sample files and request a draft change for review. Check both computer and model spending.
The linked terms specify professional use, not household use. The source code uses Elastic License 2.0, with restrictions on offering it as a hosted service to others. This is different from unrestricted open-source software. A saved payment method and optional automatic top-ups can create further charges; check the wallet settings.
Prepare a small documentation change.
Try this task
- You’ll need
- A professional Kortix account, available computer credits, model access and harmless sample files. No live customer system is needed.
- A request to copy
Read this small sample project and its README. Compare the README with the sample code. Prepare a draft change for any clear mismatch. Show the original line, proposed line and source file. Do not publish, merge, send messages or change billing.
- What to expect
- A small proposed documentation change with enough context for a person to review.
- How to check it is done
- Compare every proposed line with the source file. Check that nothing was merged or sent, then inspect computer and model usage.
Our suggested first task, not our own product test. The provider describes a similar internal routine. Access and usage depend on the chosen plan, model and permissions.
Our suggested prompt, based on the linked source. We haven’t tested this task ourselves.

The current terms identify a Delaware corporation and an Austin, Texas legal contact address. This is the operator country, separate from hosting and product availability.
