This week's important changes

Gemini

Gemini app gets the Gemini 4 Argon model and a tasks switch

What changed
Gemini 4 Argon is now in the Gemini app. A toggle switches a chat to tasks, so Gemini can keep working when you are away. Gemini now connects to more than 40 apps, like Instacart, OpenTable, Adobe and Shopify. The Antigravity coding view is built into the Gemini macOS app.
Why it matters
Paid subscribers get a new model and can hand off longer jobs inside the app they already use.
Who is affected
Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.

Grok Bot

Grok Bot gets faster, works in X DMs and adds connectors

What changed
Grok Bot says computer tasks finish about 3x faster and other replies in under half the time. After you connect X, it can work across your X messages. Chat cards have a new design. Email plus-aliases can trigger set routines. New connectors include Robinhood, Coinbase, Trello, PostHog, beehiiv and eToro, and the connector marketplace takes submissions.
Why it matters
Faster tasks and DM access change what you can hand to the bot day to day.
Who is affected
Grok Bot users; X message features need a connected X account.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT can use your Chrome tabs

What changed
In Chat, ChatGPT can look across your open Chrome tabs and gather information. In Work, it can control your Chrome tabs, for example to send messages, fill out forms or download files, and group open tabs.
Why it matters
Work can now act inside the browser you already use, not only answer questions.

Hermes

Hermes Agent v0.22.0: easier setup, and some defaults changed

What changed
A fresh desktop install starts a guided setup chat on a free trial model, so no API key is needed to begin. Connectors let Hermes act in apps like Linear and Notion. Local models install in one click. Installs follow tested stable releases by default. Changed: ended sessions inactive for 90 days are now deleted at startup unless you turn auto-prune off; chats no longer reset on an idle or daily timer; the Windows app now needs Windows 11 22H2 or newer; default macOS builds are Apple Silicon only.
Why it matters
Getting started is simpler, but old sessions can be deleted automatically and older Windows and Intel Macs lose the default desktop app.
Who is affected
New and existing Hermes Agent users, especially on Windows 10 or Intel Macs.

Muse

Meta's Muse Wonder models are out; Muse itself gets them later

What changed
Meta released the Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full models. Muse Wonder is available through the Meta Model API and Muse Code; Wonder Full is for Muse Code subscribers. Meta says Muse Wonder will soon power the Muse agent, rolling out first to subscribers.
Why it matters
This is a model release. The Muse agent has not changed yet; Meta only says it is coming.
Who is affected
Developers and Muse Code subscribers now; Muse subscribers later.

How we count

What this list covers

This list covers the agents we track in our guide, not the whole market. 16 agents are tracked this week.

What the numbers mean

This is attention, not quality. Average place describes an agent's position across counted sources. Zero means measured with no hits. Not measured means there is no count. Incomplete means part of the window is missing, a count is capped or a search is ambiguous. Uncertain means removing one source changes the rank substantially. Preliminary means the available evidence has important gaps.

How the rank is calculated

On each counted source, agents get a place: 1st, 2nd and so on. Ties share the average place. Capped counts share one place at the top. The average place across counted sources decides the rank. Lower is better. Equal average places share a rank. Missing places are omitted from the average.

A source needs 50 hits in total to count, with counts for at least 50% of tracked agents. A rank is uncertain when leaving one source out moves an agent more than 2 places. Percentages are shown only when last week's number is at least 20. The same rules apply to every agent. There is no paid placement or sponsorship.

Limits

  • X: Window misses part of Monday; Search may also catch other products
  • Reddit: Not measured
  • Hacker News: Not counted: only 22 stories this week, we need 50
  • YouTube: Not measured
  • News: At the 100-article cap, so this is a lower bound; Search may also catch other products

GitHub only covers agents with public code repositories. Counts are not deduplicated and we do not match people across platforms.

Corrections

If we get a number or a fact wrong, we fix the data, keep the dated archive of what was measured, and say so on this page for that week. Tell us at hello@littleagentclub.com.
