Cursor.
Make changes where your code lives.
An editor with agents that read a project, change files and run checks. Eligible plans also offer cloud agents that work on a remote computer and bring back a pull request to review.

Good for
When you want to understand and edit a codebase, with the changes visible in your editor.
Start with
A supported computer, an account and a code project. Cloud work needs an eligible plan and a configured repository/environment.
Cost
Free has limited agent and chat usage. New X Subscription Plus is $8/month with Grok models only. Premium is $30/month and adds cloud agents. Usage is shared with Grok; third-party models on Premium and above are billed separately at API list price. USD before tax.
Try something small.
- Find your way around an unfamiliar project
- Fix one bug and run the existing checks
- Delegate a feature to a cloud agent
Getting started.
Install Cursor, sign in and open a project folder. Ask it to explain the project first. Make one small change, inspect the diff and run the project’s checks before publishing.
Check your existing subscription before paying again: legacy plans have separate terms. Review generated changes and control which repositories, credentials and network access a cloud environment receives.
Checked 17 October 2026. Prices and access can change. Character art is our unofficial illustration.
