Jules.

Leave a coding task. Come back to a patch.

Jules works on a GitHub project in a cloud computer. Give it a clear coding task, review its plan and inspect the proposed changes. It can keep working while you leave the page.

Getting started: TechnicalConnect a GitHub project, choose a branch and set up its install and test steps. You need to review the plan and code before merging. Our setup guide, not a performance score.

Good for

Developers with a GitHub project and clear maintenance tasks they can review, rather than someone starting without a code project.

Start with

Age 18 or older, an eligible Google account, GitHub access and a project that can run in the cloud environment. Only English is officially supported; capacity is not guaranteed.

Cost

Ongoing free access includes 15 tasks per rolling 24 hours and three running at once. Eligible Google AI Pro adds higher limits; its current US price is $19.99/month. Google AI Ultra has two current variants, so check the exact Jules allowance before paying.

Plans and limits explained

Free tasks and eligible Google AI plans.

Free plan
Ongoing free access: 15 tasks per rolling 24 hours and three concurrent tasks. At the cap, new tasks pause until reset; existing work stays available to review. Capacity is not guaranteed.
Free trial
A separate Google One offer can provide temporary paid benefits. No universal Jules trial duration was confirmed. Current offer terms require a qualifying payment method and renew at the standard price unless canceled before the offer ends.
Paid plans
Eligible US Google AI Pro is $19.99/month. Jules help gives 100 tasks per rolling day and 15 concurrent tasks, with paid upgrades currently for individual Gmail accounts. Google now sells Ultra 5x at $99.99 and Ultra 20x at $199.99, but Jules help gives one 300-task / 60-concurrent Ultra allowance without separating variants. Check the exact entitlement. No full annual bill confirmed.
Extra costs & limits
Product task limits are separate from Google AI credits and other benefits. Family task limits are individual under Jules help. Paid subscriptions recur until canceled, normally with period-end access. Free-signup payment rules are unconfirmed. Connected external services can have their own bills. Age 18 or older; only English is officially supported. Regional eligibility applies.

Prices in USD unless noted. Check the billing period; local prices, taxes and offers can differ.

Plan details

US list prices. A Google AI membership is a shared subscription, with separate limits for each product. Annual Jules-inclusive bills and a universal trial duration were not confirmed.

Jules Free$0 · 15 tasks / rolling 24 hours
Up to three concurrent tasks. At the cap, new tasks pause until your rolling allowance resets; existing tasks remain available to review. Capacity can still be limited.
Jules in ProGoogle AI Pro · $19.99 / month in the US
Jules help lists 100 tasks per rolling 24 hours and 15 concurrent tasks. The paid upgrade currently needs an individual Gmail account. Do not buy a separate Jules subscription if your eligible plan already includes it.
Jules in UltraCheck your exact offer
Google now lists Ultra 5x at $99.99/month and Ultra 20x at $199.99/month in the US. Jules help gives one Ultra allowance of 300 tasks per rolling day and 60 concurrent tasks, without separating these variants. Do not assume both variants have identical limits.
A Google One trialOffer-dependent
A separate offer can provide temporary paid-plan benefits. Its duration is shown in the actual offer, not confirmed as one universal Jules trial. The linked offer terms require a qualifying payment method and charge the standard plan price afterward unless canceled before it ends.

Free-signup payment requirements were not confirmed. Paid subscriptions recur until canceled; normal cancellation retains access through the billing period, subject to local rights. Family members have their own Jules task limits under the help guide, rather than a pooled task budget. Check regional access and exact Ultra entitlement. Other Google products and extra services have their own limits and bills.

Try something small.

  • Prepare a fix for a small bug
  • Add a test for an existing function
  • Update project documentation

Getting started.

Sign in with an eligible Google account and connect only the GitHub repositories you need. Choose a small project and branch, check its setup and ask for a plan. Review the changes and tests before publishing a branch or merging.

A task can install dependencies and run code in a cloud computer. Review the repository access and setup scripts. A Google AI subscription does not make every Google service unlimited, and its general AI credits are not a Jules task count.

Plan a tiny documentation update.

Try this task
You’ll need
Eligible Jules access, one permitted sample GitHub repository and a working environment setup. Use a branch you can review.
A request to copy

Inspect this sample repository and propose a small README improvement explaining how to run its existing tests. Give me a plan first. Do not publish a branch, open a pull request or merge anything.

What to expect
A plan for one small documentation change to review before implementation.
How to check it is done
Compare the proposed test command with the project files. Review the plan and selected branch. Any later patch still needs your own checks before publication.

Our untested starter suggestion based on the setup guide. Starting a task uses the applicable allowance and can run environment setup. We have not connected a repository or run Jules.

The current US terms name Google LLC and its Mountain View, California address. This identifies the maker base; regional subscription sellers, availability and data processing are separate.
