A v0 account, a browser and internet. The linked service terms require age 16 or older. A GitHub connection is optional.

Cost

New Free users get $5 once, with a seven-message daily cap. That credit grant does not renew. Existing Free users can retain $5/month. Current Plus is $30/user/month; paid hosting and connected services can add separate costs.

Free trial: The one-time Free grant is a limited start. A separate general paid-plan trial and free-signup card requirement were not confirmed.
Paid plans: Current Plus is $30/user/month with $30 in monthly credits and $2 daily on login. Business is $100/user/month with the same stated credit grants and different controls. Legacy $20 Premium is unavailable to new users. No annual bill confirmed. Paid access needs a payment method and renews until canceled.
Extra costs & limits: More credits, hosting and connected services can cost extra. Help says 65-day paid monthly credit expiry; FAQ says one-month rollover. Check Billing for exact expiry. Purchased credits expire after one year and require paid access to use. Cancellation takes effect at period end. Eligible ChatGPT Plus/Pro reuse still uses v0 credits for platform fees, images and delegated/supporting work; no automatic fallback billing at the ChatGPT limit.

Use a ChatGPT planNot a free v0 subscription: Eligible Plus or Pro accounts can cover supported OpenAI responses. Each request still uses a v0 platform fee; images, delegated subagents and supporting work use v0 credits. At the ChatGPT limit, generation pauses until you explicitly switch billing.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; account help says cancellation moves you to Free at period end. Extra credits, Vercel hosting, domains and connected services have separate bills. Card requirements for a free signup were not confirmed; paid access needs a payment method. Getting started.

Sign in and start with one small page using sample content. Check the credit balance, choose the billing route and test the preview. Review the code and permissions before publishing or connecting a database.

Free account access does not mean a fresh credit grant every month for new users. ChatGPT plan reuse still needs v0 credits for platform fees and some features. Check the preview and code; a working-looking app can contain errors.

A request to copy: Make a small project-status preview for a fictional design studio. Use three made-up projects with title, status and next step. Add a status filter. Use sample data only. Do not add accounts, payments, connected services or publishing. Explain how I can check the result.
What to expect: A preview with three projects and a status filter.
How to check it is done: Try every filter and reload the preview. Check that it uses sample content and has no real account, payment or public deployment.
